In Memory Of Panagiotis "Pete" Sotirhos

Panagiotis “Pete” Sotirhos 89, of Paramus, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October, date, 2018 after a long illness.

He was born in the village of Akrasi on the island of Lesvos, Greece.  He immigrated to the United States of America in 1955.  Pete was the much-loved owner and operator of The New Skyway Diner, in South Kearney, NJ for over 40 years. Outside of the diner, he loved to garden and spend time with his family – especially his grandchildren and listening to Greek music.

No matter how far from Lesvos his life's path brought him, the people especially the children of Lesvos were always in his heart. Donations made in Peter’s memory will support the SOS Children's Villages programs for resident and refugee children and families in Lesvos.
